CALL FOR ARTISTS SPECIAL EXHIBIT – PRIDE!

Jackson Junge Gallery is immediately seeking artists’ submissions for their upcoming summer exhibition PRIDE!. PRIDE! is Jackson Junge Gallery’s second group exhibition of the year and will feature artists from the LGBTQ+ community. By giving queer and non-binary creators a platform to share their experiences through art, the gallery hopes to foster an inclusive space for marginalized voices. PRIDE! is our form of activism, also raising awareness of LGBTQ+ issues and advocating for equality and social change. Explore your own identity and challenge traditional notions of gender and sexuality with PRIDE! The exhibition will be on view May 26 – July 5, 2026, with an opening reception to be held Friday, June 5, 2026, from 6-10pm.

Submissions for the exhibition are free.

Exhibition Requirements

• All submitted work MUST conceptualize the theme above. Artwork must address a trend from within the year before the submission deadline. Priority and preference will be given to newer works.
• Artists working with any medium are encouraged to submit artwork.
• There is no size restriction.
• Artworks MUST be original, professionally presented, and ready for installation.

Directions for Submission

• Write “PRIDE!” as the Exhibition Name on the form.  Mismarked submissions may not be reviewed.
• When attaching images to each submission, they must be attached as jpegs with the file name as “artist’s last name_artwork title”. Mislabeled jpegs will be unable to be processed.
• Please only submit your COMPLETED artwork. We do not need to see examples of your past work.

 Incomplete submissions will not be considered.

The deadline for submissions is Sunday, March 29, 2026. Artists will be notified before the end of April if their artwork was selected or not. You will not receive any email before then. Please no phone calls. If selected, artwork must be received no later than Sunday, May 24, 2026.
