OPENING RECEPTION

November 6, 2026 6-10PM

Spanning more than four decades of drawing and painting, this retrospective highlights Benjye’s lifelong dedication to art and her ability to communicate across generations through color, gesture, and imaginative intuition. From her earliest figurative drawings and landscape paintings to her most recent works, Benjye’s compositions balance the deeply personal with the universally relatable. Her work radiates the energy of movement, the serenity of nature, and the subtle yet powerful interplay of color and light.

The exhibition brings together select works from the late 1990s to today, offering visitors an intimate look at Benjye’s artistic evolution and her ever-shifting yet unmistakable vision. While her style continues to evolve, her art consistently captures both the vitality of the human form and the beauty of the natural world.

Over the years, Benjye’s art has reached homes across the country through popular print editions. Two of her most beloved works—Girls Night Out and Barhopping—have adorned collectors’ walls for more than 20 years. For the first time, the original pastel drawings that inspired these iconic prints will be on view and available for acquisition during the exhibition.

Join us in celebrating the past, present, and future of Benjye Troob’s remarkable career in FORMS & HORIZONS: A Retrospective.
